About SBIC

The Sandy Burr Inner Club (SBIC), originated over 60 years ago, and has made the Sandy Burr Country Club its home course for its entire existence. The Sandy Burr Inner Club is simply a group of people passionate about playing golf and are particularly interested in playing organized, competitive golf.

The primary benefits of membership in the Inner Club are the organized tournaments – there are over 60 each season – and the block of tee times that we rent from the Sandy Burr Country Club (SBCC). The block of tee times ensures the Inner Club the right to play at preferred tee times on weekends and holidays during our April – October season. Tee times typically begin around 7:30 AM and accommodate every foursome on that day’s schedule. Since the tournaments are highly organized, members simply sign up, pay an entry fee, and play. And depending on your performance, you might even get paid.

Additionally, Members are entitled to the following benefits:

• USGA handicap that is maintained by the SBIC.

• Ability to bring guests in designated tournaments (see guest policy).

• Occasional free lunch and end-of-year banquet.

• Receive discounts from the golf course on green fees and Pro Shop merchandise.

It’s important to note that the Sandy Burr Inner Club and the Sandy Burr Country Club are not the same entities. They are two distinct organizations that form a mutually beneficial partnership and provide a seamless golf experience that is not available to the general public.
